Chic & Simple Tips for Capturing the Love Bug at Home all Month Long

Valentine’s Day may have come and gone, but that doesn't mean that the LOVE has to…. How to keep it alive? Why not make Valentine’s Day last as long as possible. Here are some of my favorite Lovey-Tips for warming up the whole house...

Let Go & Allow Your Senses to Guide You.....

· Vision of Love….Lighting is so key when creating those special and romantic moments. Must-Have: Aromatherapy’s Winter in Russia Candles. Tip: Invest in an Arteriors Lamp for mood-lighting all year long. My Favorite: This glamorous Silver Tortoise Table Lamp

· The Sweet Aroma…. There is nothing more powerful than the smell of something wonderful…an instant mood setter! Must-Have: Jo Malone has the most beautiful & romantic fragrances for the home. Tip: Start using The Laundress ProductsMy favorite: Wool & Cashmere Pacquette Box
· Music to My Ears….We don’t realize how sensitive we are to certain sounds. Must-Have: Get your iPod engraved Tip: If you haven’t yet you must invest in the Bose SoundDock Speakers….Your playlist never sounded so good!

· Catch that Loving Feeling….. Never under-estimate the power of the human touch. Must-Have: William Sonoma’s Faux Fur pillow & Throws. Tip: Invest in some Ann Gish Bedding…So luxurious!

· Savor the Zest of Love…. The taste of the evening is literally the cherry on top….Flavors stay with you! Must-Have: It's a good habit to always have a bottle Maschio Prosecco and for special nights have some of Sharis Berries for dessert. Tip: Set your table all year long with Kim Seybert flatware & linens….You will be inspired to do so!
The best part is that all of these elements can last long after February 14th. I have been helping my clients find that at-home-balance between work, life, kids and romance for so long and I know what works! Keep the LOVE flowing....

Design for me is a real passion, you know a 24/7 non stop train of thought that leaves the station every day heads into my imaginative world. I am never with out an idea  that I have to research and explore. I search for patterns, colors and designs that inspire me. While doing research for  fabric and textile ideas I came  upon the work of Alexander Girard. This man was a truly talented and passionate designer who was designing nearly 50 years ago and his work is still timeless.
